What do women wear to go climbing?

I want to start climbing and a school dad has offered to take me and show me the ropes (ha ha). I don’t want to look like an idiot. What do people wear? I’m thinking leggings and a t-shirt?

Yes, a chalk pouch is OTT. I've been climbing (well, bouldering) for 8 years and never had one. Admittedly I'm not a very serious boulderer, but still...
