Super quick medical history woke up last Wednesday 4am stonking headache, just awful. Thurs am left sided paralysis of face bell's palsy diagnosed, steroids started. Sat am left sided weakness/ numbness of arm admitted to hospital for 2 days had a lumbar puncture and ct scan plus lots of blood tests all clear apart from Anemia.

Took the last dose of steroids yesterday was feeling good face had started moving a bit etc. headache gone, still a bit off down left side but not as bad. Today the right side of my face is becoming paralysed numb, tingly sensation mouth is drooping but the eye is ok. Also the numbness, dead feeling has come back to left arm, bit of a headache, stiff neck returning.

My question is do should I call 111? Both times they've sent an ambulance and I've been Blush I don't think it's a stroke I think whatever the steroids have squashed down is coming back and I need another course/ further investigation.

Do you think it can wait till GP tomorrow?

Speculation about migraine - only suggesting a line of questions for AFTER serious possibilities have been excluded, as repeatedly mentioned....

I wouldn't be leaving hospital without a head ct or mri (possibly both).

er, can OP really INSIST on such things?

How likely that OP now has Bells Palsy on right side of face, too? can it double-strike same person in short time interval like that?

Hope you feel better soon, OP.

Thanks for asking @Wowthatsalot discharged from the hospital today. My face went from being droopy to this weird spasmy thing. It didn't match with the Bell's so was admitted and had an MRI and more blood tests. It's all abit inconclusive but at least all the things which are truely awful/ deadly have been ruled out.

Migraines with neurological effects or early stage of autoimmune disease is the best guess. I've been referred to Neuro and given strong antiinflammatories to keep everything under control.

Thanks to everyone for your advice.
