6 year olds and bedtime

Hi, just intrigued as to what time your 6 year olds roughly fall asleep at night. I thought with being back at school things would move to an earlier bedtime but for the past week she is really struggling to get to sleep and it’s been gone 8.30 each day. I’m worrying she isn’t getting anywhere near enough sleep! I thought 6 year olds should be asleep by more like 7.30!

My DD5 goes to sleep at 9 on a good night but it's often 10 or even later. She's up at 7:15 and can be hard to wake up but rarely seems tired during the day. That's been her pattern since before she was 2. We've tried everything but have now resigned ourselves to the fact that she just doesn't need much sleep.

My DS8 sleeps 9:00-7:00 like clockwork and has done since he was 4 or 5.

My just turned 6 year old goes up at 8pm, by the time he's put pjs on, brushed his teeth, story etc its about 8.30 by the time he is asleep. Up at 6am everyday. He was very excited on his 6th birthday as apparently that meant he could stay up 15 minutes longer!
