What do you use TikTok for?

I’m not very good with social media. But I’m also very bored! Please can you give me your best tips for using TikTok? Thank you :)

I'm 42 and I use it for news, craft ideas, I follow some people who have the same health condition as my dd and get lots of helpful advice and tips about that, true crime and book and film recommendations and recipies.

Its not just for teens at all, I guess those who think it's had their FYP tailored towards more immature tastes which sounds like a problem with their interests rather than tiktok🤷🏻‍♀️

I tend to just scroll and if I like someone’s videos you can follow them so you can see when they post new videos . I don’t post anything myself ,
