How can I flavour rice for tea?

I’m doing grilled halloumi, piri piri fries, coleslaw and flavoured rice for tea but I don’t know how to flavour rice!
What do I do to it to make it taste a bit “Nando’s-y”?
I’m not a bad cook but I’ve never done my own flavoured rice before Blush

Thanks again all, rice was delicious!
@viques that sounds delicious, will try, thank you.
@Cuddlywaterfall I would have thought the same reading the title! Sometimes call it dinner, sometimes call it tea, no rhyme or reason to it really!
@Iamclaracowbell delicious! We love coriander!

@SolitaryTree it varies here too depending on what we're having/what time/who's eating/what the weather's like! Some day I shall be posh enough to call it 'supper' Grin

a bit late possibly, but we like tex-mex style rice:
sweat one onion in butter or oil
add a crumbled stock cube and some mexican spices (paprica, cayenne, cumin, oregano)
add 1 cup dried rice
add 1.5 cups water
stir and then leave covered. switch off heat after 10 min and leave for another 10 before serving.
