Vegan school shoes? Help sought!!!

I need boys size 6 non leather school shoes with easy fastening/velcro. I'm not sure they exist so the last bit we can probably swap for elastic style laces. I've been searching for hours. Can Mumsnetters work their magic?!

They aren't due for delivery on time but hopefully he will get away with black trainers first two days.

Um, do you wear any handmade jewellery? One of the most commonly used jewellery tools is a rawhide mallet. It's a mallet made from animal hide, uses to form metal into shape, make rings rounds etc.

Just saying that just because something doesnt contain an animal product, that doesnt mean animal products arent used in the manufacturing.

Maybe they buy vegan jewellery? 🙈.

You're welcome, hope they fit and he likes them. Mine's younger but already fussy so I anticipate many more shopping challenges ahead!

If those Geox are no good, then Deichmann do a lot of non-leather shoes. I can’t comment on the glue or wider manufacturing process.

I wish everyone would buy jewellery which hasn't been tested on animals. It's awful making pigs get their ears pierced just to check which size gold hoops go best with a teardrop diamond necklace.
