What are you having for dinner?

I can't decide.

Thinking about spinach and ricotta tortellini and pesto, or crispy chicken strips & mayo wraps. Or a nice stew or soup. I'm wanting a comfort dinner I can eat in bed too. I'm knackered and a bit delicate today (not hungover, I'm awaiting a breast ultrasound to investigate something there)

I've got a salad I didnt eat at lunch but its very small.

Toad in the hole with gravy and broccoli.

Fish and chips. Going away tomorrow and can't be bothered to cook.

Being lazy after a shit day of back to back zoom calls from 9am to 5pm and no lunch, just finished emails and waiting for a chicken kebabs to arrive. 😋

imonlyhooman · 26/08/2021 19:03

Leftover roast beef, new potatoes carrots and green beans with gravy!

MaverickDanger · 26/08/2021 19:05

Just had an Indian takeaway arrive. Now to put baby DS to bed and hope it doesn’t get too cold!

Disfordarkchocolate · 26/08/2021 19:05

Crustless onion quiche, green salad, grated carrot with lime juice. Followed by a lovely peach with a small scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Happy.

I had a lamb roast 🤤

poppym12 · 26/08/2021 19:09

Vegetable kofta and naan bread

Sillysuzie · 26/08/2021 19:10

Chip shop fish and chips. So good. So naughty.....

Camomila · 26/08/2021 19:13

Nice take-away olive pizza from a local Italian restaurant picked up on the way home from the beach - felt like being on holiday Smile

Longdistance · 26/08/2021 19:16

I’m making Spanish tortilla with poncy Waitrose eggs. Dd thought it funny when I announced the eggs were from special chickens with black tails.

ShrikeAttack · 26/08/2021 19:20

Jambalaya!

3Br1tnee · 26/08/2021 19:21

@WreckTangled

Sirloin steak with a side of buttery green beans. Can't wait! Dh cooks the best steaks.

I would go for the tortellini because I miss things like that (diabetic so low carb).

I need to watch the carbs but I don't care today.

I went with the tortellini, pesto, bread & extra strong alioli.

@MsRinky

Round 2 of an immense lasagne. It's going to be even better than yesterday!
I wish I had lasagna leftovers! I might have to make one on Saturday.

Your dinners all sound delicious. I'm going to wait til I go to bed to cook and take it up and eat it in bed 👹

I would choose crispy chicken wrap from your list with something spicy thrown in.
We had thai prawn fishcakes, fried potatoes and salad...was bloody lovely!

LapinR0se · 26/08/2021 19:42

We had spicy chicken wings and a big salad. 0% beer because we’re giving up booze during the week but I fancied something

MadameMinimes · 26/08/2021 19:44

Chip butty and battered sausage from the chippy.

From your choices I’d have the wraps. Actually, I had something very similar earlier in the week but with hot sauce and a tomato salad rather than mayo.

Marmaladeagain · 26/08/2021 19:49

Lamb tagine and cous cous - dh bought himself tagine pot and was keen to use it. I don’t think it tastes any different though to his disappointment, but the tagine pot is pretty.
