Is it heaving or OK?
Not sure I want to spend £200 if it is.

A colleague at work took his son last week and he said they got on about four rides as it was really really busy.

We went a couple of weeks ago and it was too busy to really enjoy it OP. Queues for rides were anywhere from 45 mins minimum for smaller rides up to 2.5 hours. I think we were on 6 rides in total and none of those were the big ones. The queues for food stands etc were easily 30 mins plus at least.

We contemplated buying the fast pass bands which I think were £50 each but all that meant was you didn't have to physically stand in the queue while you waited your turn. It didn't actually get you on any more rides.

Do you collect Tesco club card points? We used points tripled up to save a fair bit off the tickets. If we'd have paid full price I'd have been fuming!

We went last week, it was heaving. At least an hours wait for each ride. If you don’t buy the fast track tickets I’d say don’t bother. I can recommend a great chippy in Blackpool though!

Which chippy? I'd go down the road to Whelans in Lytham Smile

Think we will give it a miss then and go for the beach, pier and arcades.

Thanks

@TheChippendenSpook it was The Yorkshire Fisheries. A couple of streets back from the front, up by the pier. Best fish and chips I’ve ever had!

We were there yesterday and it wasn’t too bad at all, anything from 20-50 mins wait, which I didn’t think was bad for a Saturday.

The weather wasn’t the best though, so maybe that put people off.

It went really quiet after 6.30 and we only waited 20 mins each for the new one Icon, the big one & revolution.

Not sure what it’s like in the week though. There is an app that tells you ride waiting times.

We were there 2 weeks ago and it was heaving. Family of 4 and I don't do rides and DC not quite brave enough to sit by themselves so it was taking forever to queue twice for a ride. Went very early after opening to try and buy queue passes but they were sold out. I did explain at the desk and they gave us a couple of queue jump tickets so DC got on an extra ride without having to wait. Went back late afternoon to see if any had been handed in for resale, they hadn't but they did give me a couple of other queue jump tickets.
Without those they wouldn't have managed more than a couple of rides each with the length of the queues.
