I'm not in a good headspace.
.

I've gone away for a few days to get some distance.

Nobody knows where I am but I'm keeping in touch.

Noone would notice anyway.

Another stranger on the internet sending you good thoughts. I hope you're ok. Here to talk.

Orgasmagorical · 23/08/2021 10:11

How are you today, Iguessyourestuckwithme?

Iguessyourestuckwithme · 26/08/2021 10:21

So I went home but its just as bleak.

I've reached out to my doctor, I've contacted some family members to tell them I'm struggling.

I'm home but I still just don't want to be here or anywhere.

I'm so pleased to hear you're home. You're doing all the right things to help yourself. It will take time but things will improve.

Iguessyourestuckwithme · 26/08/2021 11:42

Took myself out to a quiet cafe/bookshop and flopped down with a tea and didn't realise I was crying until a stranger came over and gave me a hug and passed me her number 😥 this is the push I need to sort stuff out. This isn't normal.

@Iguessyourestuckwithme hugs. I'm glad someone was there to comfort you. You can always call 111 option 2 to speak with NHS mental health team. Alternatively if you're feeling suicidal and like you might act on that impulse call 999.

Things might seem bleak today, but there might be some sunshine tomorrow.

Galassia · 26/08/2021 11:51

Stay and get your emotions and mental health problems sorted out. When you have healed you can then look at ways at making a fresh start.

Deathraystare · 26/08/2021 11:58

Well it is good you are home , at least you are safe. If you were somewhere else you would still have those feelings I guess but would be somewhere unfamiliar. It is good that you have let people know. It is good you have reached out to your doctor too. Let people help you.

Vickles20 · 26/08/2021 12:06

OP. So glad a stranger reached out to you in your time of need. I do believe sometimes that people are in your life for a reason, even if it’s a fleeting encounter.
If it was me, I would’ve done the same.
It sounds like, as you’ve said, you’ve got the push you needed.
Wishing you all the strength and love you need to get yourself through these dark times. Xx

CovidPassQuestion · 26/08/2021 12:14

Going home, contacting the doctor and your family were incredibly brave, strong things to do- you can get through this, you really can.
Take each hour as it comes. Have another tea. Talk to your family and friends. See the doctor. Tiny steps, but you've got them.

ICouldHaveCheckedFirst · 27/08/2021 13:40

OP, it may not be normal, but it's not unique. That's why the services exist to provide support. There are people out there who can help you - and you've taken a big step by contacting your GP. Well done. Flowers
