We have 4 new people at work called Nick - we were discussing in a meeting how we would know who is who (the 4 Nick's were not there in the meeting).

I said 'Oh, we'll have to think of 'nick' names for them....'.

No-one laughed.

Is it just me or was that quite funny?

I think they probably hesitated laughing because you aren't supposed to give nicknames at work. Kill joys.

Yes. Funny and your colleagues are all rubbish for not laughing.

A local bar posted on their FB page:
'Just to let you know that we are closed for refurbishment til Thursday when we re-open with our David Bowie tribute night'

And I replied:
'Are you making some ch-ch-changes?'

One fucking like. One. It deserved way more than that.
