Before I post I take full responsibility for my actions.

So Friday night I had a bit too much to drink partner was there baby was safe police came.

I took baby outside as felt partner was going to take him.

So due to this police have to refer to social services I am shit scared my own fault I know just wondered If ss will get in touch with me or even worse take baby away!

Social Services (also know as children's social care or safeguarding) may well do an initial assessment, yes, to see if there is a need for intervention.

Who called the police, and why?

Are you prepared to choose to not drink to excess, to be 100% safe around the baby in future?

These things will be relevant, and it's honestly best if you co-operative and engage honestly.

Why were the police called? Did your husband call them because you were violent/kicking off or were you arguing and a neighbour called?

You lost control with a baby, taking him and running from your sober partner infers you are a danger to him. Unfortunately the ss have to be involved to ensure his welfare.

Abstain from alcohol when he’s in your presence, show you’re remorseful both to your partner and authorities, volunteer for any classes they offer and meet every criteria they set and this will blow over.

  • why did the police come?
  • why were you worried your partner would take the baby? What's the issue with that?

What actually happened?
