I am usually a very tolerant person ( well maybe not behind the wheel but in day to day life I am not confrontational at all). Anyway, DD12 & I were in Aldi earlier & it was really busy. We were politely trying to negotiate the crowds as they were opening a new till. We didn’t faff around & we kept walking forward so we wouldn’t hold anyone else up but this rude woman said to me something like “Stop yacking & just go where you’re supposed to go” & I just saw red. She was already walking away so I don’t know if she heard me but I burst out with “ Excuse me, we were not yacking, we were trying to reach a till like everyone else” & then when she was further away I said “ Shut your mouth”. She just really made me angry & I’m not angry as a rule! DD was shocked & told me off for being violent! I did say to her that it wasn’t my finest hour. DD hasn’t got the quietest of voices so customers in the queue were glancing at us. One lady did look quite amused! Have you ever gone out of character & “ flipped”? I blamed the fact that I am menopausal, haven’t eaten properly for 2 days & am not sleeping very well.
