I'm northern. Breakfast, dinner, tea.

What's for tea in your house?

My kids (one coeliac and allergic to tomatoes) have chicken wrapped in bacon and cheese with potato wedges, peas, broccoli and sweetcorn.

I've got hunters chicken and spicy rice with broccoli, sweetcorn, carrots and peppers.

Home made pizza here, was delicious even if I say so myself!

Yours sounds good @HerRoyalRisesAgain so that and a few other ideas will go on next week's menu plan Grin

Pork chop, mash, broccoli, carrots and gravy. First day of feeling better after a bug and I’m starving!

Fridge raid before we go on holiday. Possible my most successful clean out of the veg bin ever.

Leftover beetroot and goats cheese salad; sweet potato, carrot and chilli fritters; poached egg; fried chorizo.

We had Cajun shrimp and rice skillet. A lovely buttery spicy prawn and rice one pot

My husband had fancied fish since Tuesday, so we all had fish and chips from the chip shop. We decided it's Friday night, let's get fish and chips.
For some reason I rarely get fish when we order from the chip shop even though I love it, couldn't tell you the last time I got fish for myself.
Had something I hadn't had in years. Fish, chips, tomato sauce, salt, and both types of vinegar. Absolutely loved it. Got a bottle of either white wine or something fizzy for when we sit down too. (Can't beat white wine or white fizz after having fish and chips, rosé just doesn't go as well I don't think).

I’m on the (sunny) south coast (it’s raining!). We have breakfast, lunch, supper and tea is the stuff you pour from a tea pot!

Tonight’s supper is a spiced cod, chickpea and cauliflower tray bake with green beans.

Ordered from a salt and pepper chicken place in Manchester for delivery and it was the best ❤️

Fajita Friday, tortillas and salsa on the side, wine and chocolate for pud.

Spanakopita with Greek salad

Not quite the same as a Greek holiday but at least the sun is shining

Marinated lamb, apricot, red pepper and onion skewers, halloumi and cous cous.

Today I was in a BIG GRUMP because I had to change dinner plans twice due to missing ingredients and other annoying things I’d forgotten about like dumpling dough rising times and overnight marinating for chicken.

So instead we had freezer meals (leftovers/batch cooking) - spaghetti and meatballs for DH, chanakhi (lamb, potato and aubergine stew) for me. Dinner plan for today was bumped to tomorrow, and dinner plan for tomorrow was bumped to Sunday.

Tomorrow we will have Hyderabadi chicken biryani with dal and roasted curried cauliflower.

Sunday we will have Chinese dumplings with beef cheek filling, spring rolls with pork and mushroom filling, and vegetable stir fry (with noodles for DH).

Monday I think I will make a chorizo, bean and spinach stew. Crusty bread to go with it for DH.

Haven’t got plans beyond that.
