Yesterday dsd (13) and I spent the afternoon playing gin rummy, go fish and uno. Was great fun!

Another vote for Shithead. Although we call it Shed in our house Grin

We have to call it 3s Grin
And dont do raps at the end for the looser (we used to pick a card - red for soft and black for hard and number of raps by nunner of card)

The new top trumps game goes down well in our house it's a bit like connect 4

Dd will often play patience/solitaire although I appreciate you said games with your dd.

Top trumps, dobble and a game called peachy snaps goes down well here

I have a nine and ten year old and we love dobble, skip bo (made by the Uno people I think), go fish. I'm teaching them gin rummy too.

FeatheredHope · 01/08/2021 14:34

Another vote for Dobble!

What a great age for card games! My 12 year old lives for Unstable Unicorns.

Other great games are Ravine and Space Team.
