Why are you awake

I woke up at 3.30 this morning, can't get back to sleep so I'm gonna get up. Highly annoying as it's my day off and was looking forward to a lie in before keeping dd5 entertained all day.
So if you're awake and reading this why are you awake?

I’m feeding my 6 week old. I only have 1 eye open. The other hasn’t caught up yet.

On the plus side this is only his second wake up of the night!

Snap! First night ever my 6 week old has not been up every 1-2 hours, also on his second feed of the night. Must b something in the water tonight but no complaints here!

DD woke up at 5.30, she was asleep at 6 last night so she's had a long sleep.
We took DP to work, now I'm having a coffee and scrolling Mumsnet

Next door neighbour is a postie and his yappy little dogs go nuts when he leaves the house at 5.45am. I ate too much takeaway last night so my stomach woke me up earlier and now there's no chance of getting back to sleep, but it's the last day of my hols so I don't mind too much. At least I don't have to go to work today.

At least I don't have to go to work today.

Been awake since 3.30. Have Lupus and Fibromyalgia and the pain was bad. Hate taking extra pain meds, so have been sitting reading with a heat pad on my back.

The thought constantly going around my head, that my abusive "family" has just found out I'm pregnant and know where I live and I'm scared

my ddog woke me, needed a big poo, she had too many treats yesterday due to me wfh, isolating, she is suffering. and the forecast is rain Sad putting paid to a great weekend of getting out of the house!

I woke up at 5:30 for a wee and stupidly lifted my phone. One of the DC has messaged me in the night to tell me their friends dad is going for a covid test this morning. DS had been at their house for 3 weeks until yesterday. So of course I am now wide awake and DS, who is 18, autistic and worried is hiding out in his room until the results of the Dad, so at least tomorrow at this time.

On the plus side DS is double vaccinated.
