Anyone else having a shit day?

I've been at work since 8 and the amount of shit I have to do before half 5 is ridiculous. I'm on my own today so it's all on me, on top of the shit I've already done.

Was waiting for 40 minutes earlier to get a query answered for someone.

I've got 20 letters to type, 12 referrals to send and loads of other little shit jobs.

I clear shit and more shit appears.

I should stop wasting time and do them but I wanna have a hormonal whinge instead.

Roll on half 5.

My 6 year old DS's teacher called to say that DS tried to exclude another pupil from a game by telling him "only white people can play".

DS has apologised but I'm not sure he really understands how bad it is. Obviously we will work on that.

I’m also having a terrible week. I hate my job and can’t seem to get a new one. Well I can but I no longer want to work in my trained profession and we are so short staffed I can’t attend any interviews that I’m offered. The ones I have interviewed for I have been rejected after taking annual leave. My children have d&v, my house is a mess. I have no friends where I live and I’m beginning to give up on trying to be happy. I can’t even have a drink tonight as I’m working tomorrow. I could get a takeaway though!

Yup. Left home at 830 this morning to drive to staycation house. Broke down at 11, had to pay to upgrade to breakdown cover to tow us to holiday destination. Still in tow truck with two grumpy teens 😖

I hope your day got better, or at least you were able to walk away. I had to raise two tickets today with the FSD, fucking service desk. I'm mostly mild mannered but they really really annoy me. Daughter finished school at lunchtime, went out to play with friends in the heat, came home to stuff her face and threw it all back up. Gin is the answer!

My day has improved some what.

I'm home, got gin, got netflix. I'm good now.

Mm had a shit week to be honest.

It's so hot in my small
Place of work it got to 28 degrees last night and the same today.

Thanks to Covid and isolating so many people have moved their slots so it's gone from being busy to literally dead and getting worse

Standing around makes me rage when I know what needs doing and sorting out at home.

It off narcissistic boss was being a grumpy twat all day and just generally making me fee
Shit at my job.

Txt partner to say i would be home early and to check temperature of hot tub so I could hop in as my joints are painful
Today and just generally enjoy my lovely hot garden to be told in laws were (yet again)around as they'd popped in for something and were sunbathing in the garden

So I left work and went out to get some bits I needed because I just couldn't face entertaining visitors after this week.

It's the second day this week I've got home to them enjoying my garden rather than me
