Best cakes, cookies or brownies online?

I'm looking to buy some for my husband as a bit of a pick me up - he's going through a stressful time at work.

I'm happy to spend some £££ to get the best quality possible, but I have no idea where to start.

Does anyone have any recommendations of places which they've used and love?

+4 for Gower Cake

Gower Cottage, or Konditor & Cook for their curly whirly cheesecake brownie box Grin

I found Gower Cottage brownies very dry. Such a shame as they always get mentioned on these threads.

We had a mahoosive box from flapjack nation as a gift in work. They were lush!

I used to love tarte and Berry, they had such a great mix of things but they stopped trading a while ago 😢

Biscuiteers are stunning looking and taste good too.
I recently got some CakeHead brownies and shortbreads for my birthday - I don’t have a sweet tooth but even I enjoyed those .

I’ve bought Gower Cottage and they reportedly went down well but I much prefer the pudding wagon! The goey choc brownies from Ridiculously Rich by Alana are lovely but I’ve bought from
The shop rather than mail order.

Oh my yes! Someone sent these when we had our little one and my god they were delicious. I would really like to order some for myself again 😄

Scarlett bakes cakes, she has only recently started doing postal boxes and only sells them once a week I think. The brownies are incredible though.

FinallyHere · 11/07/2021 21:38

We have send these to lots of people and had the odd box ourselves delicious and geed feedback from others, too.

Another vote for gourmet brownie kitchen. Just down the road from us so we can collect- they are to die for!

Roominmyhouse · 11/07/2021 22:15

Bears brownies were delish, I found the finch ones a little drier but still yummy.

Sheshed · 11/07/2021 23:20

Nine teacups makes really nice keto brownies- raspberries the best (imo Grin )
They also make free from cakes and other stuff

PennineWayinSlingbacks · 12/07/2021 00:43

I do a little sideline in postal brownies, a few MNetters have kindly ordered (I was TheNationsFavourite then!)

They're 38% Fairtrade chocolate, free range eggs and West Country butter and all made to order.

Triple choc and salted caramel versions attached.

Message me if you'd like any more details.

After looking at the websites for all of these, I ended up ordering two types of brownies from Gower Cottage Brownies for tomorrow in DH's name - I can't wait to see him open them!

Thank you so much again for the tips everyone, I'm so grateful Smile
