Anyone taken diazepam?

I was given 3 days of 2mg diazepam for muscle spasms for a disc problem. Its really helped apart from making me ridiculously sleepy. I took the last one last night and today I have the runs and feel very slightly nauseous. Not badly but it’s not something I usually get unless I’ve got norovirus. I’m also taking naproxen and something to line the stomach (I’ve had both these before with no problem) Has anyone else had stomach problems from diazepam or is it likely to be coincidence.

It will probably be Naproxen. I have taken on and off in the past and always make sure I take with a meal plus eat lots of natural greek yoghurt or kefir drinks to line the stomach/ good gut bacteria.

Steppingcarefully. Sorry you are suffering too. I’m on a waiting list for an injection for my neck and one for my shoulder. My lower back has been calm since before first lockdown but obviously getting dry after a shower is a high risk activity. I’m taking one 30mg lansoprazole a day with the naproxen. But as naproxen isn’t touching the pain anyhow I’ve stopped both. I will ask about arcoxia. Thanks for that. I’ve only had morphine by injection after an emergency c section and I felt sick and hallucinating. It was so awful.

Crystalize. I have some strawberry flavour kefir which I love. Will definitely be having some thanks. I’m so stuffed with all sorts of bacteria destroying drugs I feel drinking kefir is like emptying the Atlantic with a teaspoon but at least I’m doing something. Thanks.

It'll be the naproxen, but I can't touch diazepam. Was given it a couple of years ago and it made me trip horribly (I used to use magic mushrooms and LSD back in the 90s and this was definitely a trip). Didn't make me sleepy at all.

My husband was stung by a wasp on a day trip when I was doped up on diazepam, codeine and naproxen. I swear to all things holy that it was the funniest thing I had ever witnessed in my life. I honestly laughed uncontrollably for hours afterwards. I have no idea why it was so funny but it may possibly have been the drugs
