I struck by how ugly/mediocre a lot of decor in these places is.
Either dull country vintage style, or sometimes they seem to have got in a totally unimaginative designer to cover everything is silvery-grey crushed velvet with big chandeliers and generally make the place look like a pricey chain hotel.
And what's with having all that money but just buying blimmin' canvases of Marilyn Monroe or Mickey Mouse or generic sculptures of ballerinas and stuff? FFS, if you can spend 10s of millions on a house you could buy some actual art, not just the same mass-produced shit that you see in a 3-bed semi in Chingford! I assume someone just sells job lots to interior designers who fit out these places....
