My favourite Less than Jake song is Gainsville Rock City. First heard when I saw the film about Kiss (cannot for the life of me remember the name of it!)

There’s an mtv rocks album with a lot of this stuff on! Constantly on play in the car.

I’m currently educating skater boy DS (12) in good music and this is my play list.

He already loves Teenage Dirtbag (Weetus) girls and Boys (Good Charlotte) , 1985 (Bowling For Soup) and anything Greenday.

@LadyCatStark OPM’s “Heaven is a half pipe”, good find! They were a one hit wonder right? I wouldn’t have remembered them, but that song was huge in 2000. Like Eiffel 65’s “Blue-Da-Ba-Dee”, or Shanks & Bigfoot “Sweet Like Chocolate”, Daniel Bedingfield’s “Gotta Get Thru This. Songs that were just huge and sung by everyone in school! Weird how mass culture works.

@BakeOffRewatchi loved it as a teenager (than never actually skated) but my actual skater boy DS thinks it’s the lamest thing ever 😂😂😂.
