Which activities at Centerparcs are good?

We are going to Sherwood Forest in late July, but we need to pick our activities now.

I've never been before, and there's lots to choose from! Any tips?

Also, how scary are the high ropes?

Definitely book restaurants otherwise you won’t get in the the evenings, pancake house is a good shout after swimming

Not an activity as such but I love the pancakes at the pancake house

Wear a hoodie and it's practically bootcamp really

We're just home from there and it was our first CP experience (no anal sadly!).

Indoor climbing - big hit with 6 yo
Mini captain boat - as above for 3 yo
Bowling - all enjoyed
Family putting - we booked this on the day and it was much better for us than the adventure golf as it was much, much quieter. We had the course to ourselves and went round a few times and 3 yo was able to go ahead and throw the ball in the holes without getting in the way. The adventure golf was mobbed so would have been a total pain for us as we'd have been holding people up or having to keep 3 yo out of the way.
Bikes - well worth it. We cycled all over and really enjoyed it. 3 yo on a child seat on DH bike.
Swimming - both kids said this was their favourite thing. And it was included so that's a big bonus.
Play park - we found a better one on our last full day behind the sports bar. The ones at the lake weren't that great for our kids.
