Classic kids party food?

What’s a classic party food idea? Not doing boxes this year would rather do a buffet type thing. 15 kids and adults aged 4/5.

Cheese/ham/jam sandwiches. Cucumber sticks so you don't feel too bad about the sweet stuff! Carton of orange juice, mini packet of party rings and Wotsits/Quavers/Skips

Cheese and pickled onions on cocktail sticks
Sliced pizza
Bowls of crisps
Chocolate fingers
Chopped fruit and carrots, celery sticks

Angel delight / jelly

White bread ham sandwiches with no crust, cheese cubes on sticks, party rings, plain crisps and skips. Orange squash in a white plastic cup.

Cheese and pineapple on cocktail sticks, pushed into a potato cut in half and covered in foil.

Hula hoops. Not a party without hula hoops.

Cocktail sausages.

Sausage rolls and mini sausages. Chocolate fingers & Jaffa cakes.

Nuggets
Pizza
Cocktail sausages
Sausgae rolls
Party rings
Jaffa cakes
Ice gems
Pink n whites
Different fruits
Veg sticks
Sandwiches. Cheese, ham, jam,
Pineapple and cheese sticks.. Mine devour these.
The big bags of crisps like wotsits, cheese balls
Cheese savouries the shaped things like diamond hearts etc

Iced Gems, Party Rings, pink wafers. 2 sandwiches before you can have a biscuit (or was that only my grandma?)

Top hats. The marshmallow with the chocolate and smartie on top.

Cocktail sausages, sausage rolls. Veg sticks, fruit, part ring biscuits.

Ooh I misread and thought you said you were doing boxes...I wondered why everyone else was suggesting communal food!! I have no idea why but all the preschool kids I know love breadsticks

In addition to the wonderful suggestions above I would say fruit kebabs, melon and strawberry on mini skewers. I'm always surprised they all get eaten!

When I was a kid in Essex in the late 70s/ early 80s, every children’s party buffet included banana sandwiches. Never see them now. Was it just us? Literally every single party - a choice of ham, Dairy Lea, maybe egg, and banana sandwiches.

If you dip the apple slices in salt water they will stay perfect. I fill up a cereal bowl with water and use a couple of pinches of salt so they don't end up with a salty taste, chuck the apples in once cut, get them out and leave on a plate in the fridge until we're ready to eat them.

They were such a staple - I mean, they were at every single child's party at infant school - that I am astonished that they are not more widely known. Was it really just one small corner of an Essex market town where banana sandwiches ruled the party buffet?

Fairy cakes and butterfly buns surely? I baked them for every party my dc had and now bake them for dgs's party.

Jelly, multi coloured layers if you've got time.

Sandwiches, cream cheese/primula type, egg mayonnaise, meat paste, wafer thin ham.

Sausage rolls or cocktail sausages.

Hot dogs with trimmings.

Ice cream.

Butterfly cakes, Swiss roll, iced fairy cakes with hundreds & thousands (water icing not buttercream).

Birthday cake!!
