Be worth it if the furniture was included...!

The amount of seating!

The amount of mould!

The bathroom fish!

The collapsing ceilings!

There’s a lot to unpack here.

lucysnowe2 · 21/06/2021 21:21

Yes, I wonder how ok it is structurally. It does all add to the retroness though!

OP posts:
Hoppinggreen · 21/06/2021 21:21

I absolutely love it.
Probably major structural issues though, you would have to almost start again

MistySkiesAfterRain · 21/06/2021 21:21

In the 60s this would have been amazing!

BewareTheBeardedDragon · 21/06/2021 21:25

That is awesome. Probably a money pit but awesome nonetheless!

BewareTheBeardedDragon · 21/06/2021 21:26

Frankly a steal at the price in that area, which leads me to believe the structural issues may be extensive Shock

Mull · 21/06/2021 21:26

Ooh, it’s very Abigail’s Party isn’t it?

Cleverpolly3 · 21/06/2021 21:38

The last photo - the tree looks like a creature

Yes @Mull Beverley would love wafting around there listening to DR plying everyone with gin and tonics

Mammyloveswine · 21/06/2021 22:37

A million quid!!! faints

Clymene · 21/06/2021 22:40

It's absolutely beautiful. But probably needs another million spent on it.

Clymene · 21/06/2021 22:41

I hope the couple who built and lived in it for the last 50 years absolutely loved it

TwigTheWonderKid · 21/06/2021 22:49

That staircase is fantastic.

PumpkinWitch · 21/06/2021 22:58

I want to know whose house this was. I can imagine them wandering around in bell bottoms and maxi dresses. I love that it is so well preserved. I hope they don’t get someone who will rip it all out.

I have an addiction to Rightmove as I have been trying to move house for such a long time.

deathbypostitnote · 21/06/2021 23:00

I will not be happy unless I live there immediately, with the furniture.

Gingerkittykat · 21/06/2021 23:09

Wow! I wonder what the big horse in the window is all about!

I also bet it is freezing in winter and boiling in winter.

£1M would probably buy a castle where I am.

wheresmymojo · 21/06/2021 23:09

Never before has a Rightmove house so strongly demanded a kaftan

Dontate · 21/06/2021 23:16

That’s a brilliant price for Henley. I love it!

LittleBearPad · 21/06/2021 23:18

I feel Kevin McCloud will be there shortly as the whole thing is demolished to make way for a Grand Design.

DPotter · 21/06/2021 23:24

It's not even in Henley!

DPotter · 21/06/2021 23:26

They have some lovely ceramics......

EastWestWhosBest · 21/06/2021 23:30

The mould in the bedroom window!

SecondCityShark · 21/06/2021 23:31

Nope. Looks like something Jimmy Savile would live in.

GetInThereLewis · 21/06/2021 23:32

It's in Nettlebed, not Henley.

BewareTheBeardedDragon · 21/06/2021 23:59

Yeah - it's a bit cheeky to call it Henley, but to be fair all the countryside property round there is £££

ResIpsaLoquiturInterAlia · 22/06/2021 00:10

No thanks and as it’s cheap per square foot for Henley-on-Thames it’s no doubt an expensive refurbishment project given it’s time warped everything including possibly extensive structural repairs.
