Why are you passed off today?

I'm moody because

1. Banging headache all day
2. Shit cold, wet weather
3. Theatre show I booked has been cancelled
4. Feel unappreciated at work and was overlooked for promotion
5. Daily grind of laundry, cleaning kitchen etc is never ending
6. Just feel meh.

Everything's OK really. I have my health, DCs are fine, I'm employed, I have a roof over my head but ugh. Feel like shite.

I am so pissed off, so is everybody I know, is feeling fed up, with cold, Covid and pulled in every direction, the weather. And that Scottish footballer covid nonsense.

I drove Ds1 miles for a blood test, nearly missed it because of traffic, only to find it was a fasting one. Burst into tears. It was the final straw.

I am working my notice and I am HATING my work. Time has started crawling by (it was flying in before) and I just can’t bring myself to care any more. But it’s such a stressful horrible job that I have no option but to care about it.

I've an horrendous headache.
My mother is playing the matyr again.
My husband has a new gadget and insists on manplaining how it works to me.

@SemiFeralDalek so sorry, I’m also the same, 4th miscarriage, paid thousands for this one (ivf) and the same story in the scan room.

Also - parents are getting evicted and have 2 weeks left to find somewhere to move. Mum needs an adapted home which are few and far between. Lots of admin/desperate looking to follow now.

The realisation that everyone is passing me by and I’m stuck where I was 4 years ago.

Sorry for such a dark post, it’s good to get it down though. I’ll get through this period. to everyone having a shit time regardless of the reasons
