CandidaAlbicans2 · 21/06/2021 19:20

Cool, wet and windy here, and despite having my thermals back on I had to put the heating on for a little while this morning 🙁

PicsInRed · 21/06/2021 19:24

I've had the heating on for 3 days and I'm not the littlest bit sorry. Utterly, cozily, unrepentant.

NoWordForFluffy · 21/06/2021 19:24

Me. I'm not happy about it either!

TheChosenTwo · 21/06/2021 19:25

My heating is also on in Hampshire.
Dh and I were talking about lighting the fire a minute ago Grin we won’t but it was a nice thought.
Here’s a big fuck off to all those who were blathering on about the glorious sunshine and saying it was too warm Sad

shewalkslikerihanna · 21/06/2021 19:38

14 in m Yorks
Heating been on but stayed gloomy and grey all day
Drove up home, n e coast brilliant sunshine and 15
Still a bit cool though

I leave the heating set at 18 now
It doesn’t usually kick in but I’ll be turning it up later just to warm up that cool air

LemonDrizzles · 21/06/2021 19:39

Put the heater on this morning. Still needed a blanket on my lap today

MrsJBaptiste · 21/06/2021 19:49

Sat in shorts WFH with a fan on last week 🥵

Plugged my heated blanket in today 🥶

DinosApple · 21/06/2021 19:50

Yes it's been bloody cold here in Suffolk today too. We were outside for PE this morning and I had a big coat and hood up.

I love the heat, we've had a cold dry winter, followed by a cold wet spring, followed by a week of glorious sunshine and near 30 degrees heat and now back to 13 degrees and drizzle. I feel cheated.

And if any fecker moans that it's too hot next time it gets above 20 degrees... 🤬

FlibbertyGiblets · 21/06/2021 19:51

Sweater and scarf time, pottering at home is chilly. Burrrrrr.

missymoomoomoomoomoo · 21/06/2021 19:52

Heating on here too. Idgaf

viques · 21/06/2021 19:53

Me too, dug out the fluffy socks and a cardigan.

I removed the duvet from the duvet cover last week, and am regretting it, luckily I have a light blanket that lives on the end on my bed so have been using that otherwise bed is too chilly.

Tangledtresses · 21/06/2021 19:55

Me too... so cold I roasted a chicken and made yorkies. Heated up the kitchen a treat 😀😀😀😀😀

Hughbert · 21/06/2021 20:00

Freezing. Wore my big coat to work and put the heating on when I came in.

IWillWashTheGreenWillow · 21/06/2021 20:07

Perishing here in the South East. Have spent all day in cardi and hoodie over tshirt, jeans and boots, taking windows off night vent. Now in a very hot bath trying to reset.

nixso29 · 21/06/2021 20:11

19 today in sunny Northern Ireland! I would feel sorry for you all but we never get nice weather its usually permanently raining so I'm taking it!

BigBWatching · 21/06/2021 20:11

I’m warm, have just been having a beer in the sun and I’m in Scotland! 16 degrees but that’s lovely for here.

Thewinterofdiscontent · 21/06/2021 20:17

Yep. Another Hampshire here.
I never have the heating on after March as the main rooms all face directly south and have big windows. Like a greenhouse.

No fucking good when it’s been dark all weekend and lashed down all day.

It was dark but muggy last week. I’ll take that over being actually cold.

WellTidy · 21/06/2021 20:30

We’ve had the heating on all day (both wfh), and I’m wearing a long sleeve thermal vest and my boot type pull on slippers with my M&S loungewear. I’m warm but not uncomfortably so, considering that all this is happening in JUNE!

WellTidy · 21/06/2021 20:30

I’m in London.

Not just any day in June either. The summer solstice of all days where we have the most daylight hours of the year and the least hours of darkness 😳
GETTINGLIKEMYMOTHER · 21/06/2021 20:49

Dh - who is usually the last to put a jumper on - actually put the heating on earlier.
I have my sheepskin house boots on, as well as assorted layers, and I made a big potful of my thick, winter soup earlier.
And I shall put the electric blanket on tonight. 🙂

massiveportion · 21/06/2021 20:50

No.

I was under my blanket while WFH today (my legs; I had my fleece hoodie on the top, plus fluffy slippers on my feet).
Bluntness100 · 21/06/2021 21:02

Yup, heating on here too, wearing a jumper vest and jogging bottoms. Was living in shorts and a vest prior to this, sigh,

MrsTrellisofNWales · 21/06/2021 21:10

It feels like weeks ago that we had hot sunshine but it was only last wednesday. In the SE at least it should be back up to 20 degrees again by this wednesday and then up to 24 degrees next week.
