How does your DP/ DH react when you cry?

I'm not someone who cries alot, I probably should say, but when I do DP gets angry which is always kind of a shock, even after many years together, and then I end up apologising for crying!

Obviously when he is angry or upset it is always totally reasonable and justified.

He sounds awful. How can you get angry when your partner is upset?

If I'm crying my DH hugs me and gets me to talk about what's upset me. There's usually a cuppa to follow, too.
