Really wanted to hit the 20,000 mark but stuck on 12,000
Sometimes hit 13,000
Any tips on how to get motivated?
I walk 3 miles a day and after that my hips ache
Sometimes can go to 4 miles but I'm knackered after.
Make up the rest of the steps walking into town or browsing the shops etc

I once did 100,000k in one day, brutal and took me about 14 hours of walking🥲 never again haha! Average 20k day.

The most I’ve done in a day was 74,000, six months post hip replacement!

Usually it’s around 12-16000 though, with more at weekends.

I’m making up for the time before my op, when I couldn’t walk without crutches.

Around 20,000 steps a day. Mon - Fri I walk to work, 50mins each way. At the weekends, I go for a run which is 6k and walk less but usually end up at 20k.

My daily average this year is around 9500 steps. I aim for 10000 per day but let it slack at the weekend. Tbh I work from home in a desk job so I don’t do much in the way of ‘pottering’. If I don’t bother my arse to go out for a walk then I’d probably only do around 2-3000 per day.

On days when I work and don't make the effort to walk, it's about 3k. I try to fit in a lunchtime walk, or go out once the kids are in bed and one way or another I can just about get to 10k most days.
I just don't have time for endless walking, so unless I can fit it in with something I'm doing with the children, it's always a struggle.

10000 on a work day (3 days a week) 17-20000 on my days off with the dog :)
