I don’t think I can put a photo in the OP so will put it in post 2, but they’re like multicoloured small hemispherical rubber moulds, and I’m seeing them everywhere in poundshops etc but have no idea what they are.

Yes I’m an old fuddy duddy. No I can’t Google them because I’m. It sure how to start. I don’t know which would be more embarrassing, that they’re a drug thing and I thought they were a toy, or that they’re completely innocent and I thought they were drug related.

Santa brought DD one this year - she loves bubble wrap and this is like bubble wrap you can turn over and pop again and again.

Officially it's a fidget toy to help with concentration, in our house it's forever bubble wrap.

They are a type of fidget toy called 'Pop It'. Then there are Simple Dimples, Tangles, Whacky Tracks and Marble Meshes.

Yes, I have a 11 year old. They are currently going ape-shit for these.

They are called pop its as far as I know. I added them to a party bag this week, you would have thought I was handing out gold from the reactions! Grin

Pop its here too. I find it fascinating we have a generation obsessed with tactile, fidget toys.

stayingaliveisawayoflife · 13/06/2021 18:32

They are the latest craze and yes children are saying they have to have them to help them concentrate. Trying to teach a lesson with 30 of these popping away is a nightmare! Hopefully they will disappear like fidget cubes did.

I would have guessed a marble holder. Which seems unlikely.

Yup pop it's, simple dimples, fidget cube. I have no idea the difference. my dd 10 takes a load round to her friends to trade then comes back with completely different ones. I did think they were ice cube trays to start with.

They're really relaxing! I have a play with my kids ones when they're in bed!!!
