Midge, it was that kind of song, wasn't it - very rhythmic-y (if there is such a word)

Most songs are supposed to be rhythmic, aren’t they! I know what you mean, it was a prominent beat. The opening bars of the track is the best, I think.

Well if you want to talk structure

Western music is ( apparently) characterised by simple rhythms snd more complex harmonies

Listen to eg Indian music , rhythm there feels so different
