Feeling strange

I am feeling really on edge all the time at the moment and I’m not sure why. I’ve had a tough time with teen dd and I’m finding my job stressful as well. I feel jittery and anxious all the time - as if something bad is about to happen. It’s that kind of feeling you get before a job interview but I feel like that all the time. It’s really horrid and I don’t know what to do.

I was feeling ok yesterday but today I feel really jittery again. I’m back at work tomorrow after half term/being signed off for a week, so I will be feeling nervous. I just feel like my heart is hammering in my chest. I’ve had some sertraline side effects, nothing too bad - a bit of nausea and clenching jaw. I had wine on Friday night and realised that wasn’t a great combination as it made me more nauseous.

Low magnesium? I get this and find epsom salt baths really help.

That could be worth a try.

I suggest zero alcohol and zero caffeine. I know it sounds hard but makes a massive difference to me, and you can gradually reintroduce as you feel better if you want to. Hope you feel better soon.

I won’t drink for a while, as it made me feel horrendous yesterday. Coffee will be tough to give up though. I could go decaf.
