haiku game

write a haiku with the word given by previous poster.
then add a single word to your post for next player. I'll start:

Lovely sun at last
I'll need sunglasses to drive
Oh no! Where are they?

Apples

Doughnuts are so much more than they were
Glazes, coating, fillings, flavours
I feel overfull but happy.

@Ostara212 - not sure if you're aware - haiku is 5 syllables, 7 syllables, 5 syllables - your poems are really lovely but not strictly haiku? Hope you don't mind me pointing out!

Fern unfurls slowly,
Brown twigs become leafy green.
Spring is here again
