What happened??? Was it a troll?

Aw no it never even crossed my mind that would be a troll thread !

It was very tame though, I would like my made up threads to involve: affairs, drink, drugs an inheritance and maybe a minor celeb or two.

I remember the one where the OP wanted to ask out her DS headteacher ,, that got deleted ,,

Oh I had no idea that was a troll. I must say it was a very boring troll. Is the whole point in trolling not supposed to be dramatic and exciting? The OP and her interactions with her crush were very mundane they couldn't have been less exciting if she tried.

Oh maybe it was going somewhere fun. There’d be a detailed sexy update in a few days or something. Maybe on their walk he’d need the air ambulance or stop a mugger or something...

Can we not have a Troll’s Corner made and then they can post all the made up ones there?

I’m quite new here so not sure how it all works. But why bother deleting that thread? Who even cares if it’s made up-not like we know who the OP is so makes no difference if it’s real or not? It was entertaining and I think everyone is “wasting their time” reading/commenting on a strangers love life anyway-it’s just a bit of entertainment and is hardly a productive way to spend your time whether it’s true or not. I wish they they didn’t let us know it wasn’t true and let us all carry on being entertained-what was the harm? Obviously they could delete it if it became harmful or too ridiculous/so unbelievable it made the whole site look inauthentic but when something feasibly could be true then why bother deleting it especially if they don’t know for sure. It could be that this thread was genuine and the op has posted false stuff before-it did sound very genuine

Ah ok. I hadn’t caught up with the thread today so didn’t see anything about a covid death. I am always a bit suspicious of threads where the op updates every tiny thing though. Does anyone remember the one that ran for 3 threads about a woman who had met a guy online dating and was he interested or not? She’d sent him a book. That op was updating every bloody second and it did seem a bit odd. That one was also deleted due to all being lies!
