Anyone tried the Doona Liki Trike?

I’m debating buying one for DS 18months. It would be the S1 model. We live in an apartment building up several flights of stairs with no lift. We’ve got a trike already but I never ever use it because it’s too difficult to carry down the stairs while also carrying DS. I can do with him in a baby carrier but if he’s wriggling it doesn’t feel safe. The Liki trike appeals because it folds up! I manage fine with the folded-up buggy and DS but he’s always trying to ride on other children’s scooters and balance bikes at the park so I thought he might really like something he can control more himself. If you have one does your child love it? Do you find it easy to fold and unfold regularly?

Hi! We bought it for my son who turned 1 on 8th May and it's honestly the best baby item we've ever bought! We absolutely love it and I haven't needed to use the pram in ages because it's so nippy and quick to fold up and down. Well worth the money!

I bought it in the end. My son is around 6 months older than yours and for us it can replace the pushchair on short trips but he can escape the harness if he wants (S1 model only has a 3 point harness) and he can put he feet and drag them along so if he’s having a tantrum the trike won’t contain him and allow us to keep moving. But he loves it and has learnt to use the footrests on walks and is really enjoying using it like a balance bike at the park. I really like being able to take the pedals and bumper bar off and disable the steering in a click depending on whether he’s playing at the park or I’m pushing him along.

Ah glad you got it, we have the S1 too with the 3 point harness! In about 6 months we may have the tantrum issue too 😂 we just love how quickly it folds down and like you, how the pedals can be moved! Also the little numberplate on the back you can write your child's name on, nice little touch!
