Camera on/off for job interview

DH was interviewing a candidate for a job today. As part of the interview the candidate was sharing their screen and had to do a technical task as DH was giving instructions. Once the chatty CV/competency bit of the interview was over and the technical bit began, the candidate turned off his camera.

DH was talking to me about it saying it was odd but maybe they just felt self conscious. Would this be suspicious to you?

I'm suprised your husband didnt say anything tbh.

I don't know why he didn't say anything... He could still see the candidates screen and what they were doing on the computer. It was only really after the interview finished that he reflected on how odd it was and how weird the timing was of the camera going off.

£200k salary for the role and your DH didn't show initiative to mention the screen had stopped sharing.....?

Nope. DH has many rare and valuable skills but they are mostly technical. He also cannot remember to take the bins out.

@Rhayader haha fair enough, I too have literally just done a mad rush this morning to beat the rubbish truck so I can't judge 😂
