Bought a friend a gin shelf and glasses for her birthday and Intend to give her four bottle of flavoured gin to put on it.

Question is:

Would you prefer four totally different flavours and makes of gin or
4 bottles of Whitley Neil flavoured gin in same bottles but different colours?

Too much time on my hands I know!!!!

Lots of gin snobs here!!
If your friend likes flavoured gins then buy her flavoured gins.
4 of the Same brand would look fab on a shelf but so would 4 different bottles!!! Only you know your friend! What’s her style of decor? Where is she going to put the shelf? What do you think would look best?

I’d love a friend who was going to buy me 4 bottles of gin!! do you need a new friend?

Off to google gin shelves now Gin

@Lotsachocolateplease hahaha your post made me laugh! Thank you!

Thank you everyone I am googling them all and tbh think I have more for myself in the basket than for her!!!!

@DefinatelyMaybee it didn’t taste how I expected. It wasn’t tart but better than any others or a berry flavour I’ve had (other than sloe types), not sickly at all.

I have a gin cabinet but i'm not a gin snob - i'll drink the flavoureds as well as the pures - actually can't beat Aldi's own brand London Dry, I love it - beats Bombay hands down

Sloe gin makes me want to puke however...vile stuff

clpsmum · 23/04/2021 23:32

Sloe gin is my favourite

Yeah I seem to be in the minority - it tastes like perfumed toilet cleaner to me 🤔

I’m a gin drinker and obviously have favourites. Someone bought me a bottle of Mermaid gin and I found it to be awful.
Who would have thought that a gin would be undrinkable.

I've just added a gin shelf to my list of 'things to get soon'. Gin teapot is also on there

clpsmum · 24/04/2021 04:40

Not one for your friend but one for you, Cathedral Gin by Cuckoo, buy it online, my Dad and his friend can do a bottle between them on a 3 day (2 night) golf trip, at the grand ages of 74 🤣
