Nice yogurt recommendations

I've been buying the M&S West Country Luxury Yogurts recently. They're delicious, lovely flavour and very creamy. I could eat one every day. They are quite expensive though (75p each or 5 for £3.50).

I've tried the fudge, apple crumble and vanilla and they were all really nice.

I wondered whether anyone can recommend something similar to try.

Make my own with a Lakeland yoghurt maker. Could not be easier. Lovely creamy yoghurt...and no plastic waste.

ouchmyfeet · 20/04/2021 21:51

If you like creamy yoghurt you will like the collective as recommended by PP. it's available in Tesco and Sainsbury's, not sure about others.

Yeo valley yoghurts are nice too, the lemon curd one is particularly delicious

Pedallleur · 20/04/2021 21:56

Collective Plus Kefir. Really nice. Flavoured yogurts are the devil's work. Buy your own fruit and add it. Yeo Valley Kefir and Longley Farm Greek style also good.

I love Fage Greek style with blueberries. My fave breakfast!

Irishterrier · 20/04/2021 22:03

I love those creamy M&S yoghurts too OP - my favourite is the lemon and lime and in fact I had two of them today.

I also like the lemon Perle de Lait yoghurts you get in packs of four from eg Waitrose.

BaconBadger · 20/04/2021 22:45

Bonne Maman have started doing really nice creamy yoghurts in fig, rhubarb & strawberry, and cherry flavours. They come in a 450g tub rather than individual pots and they sell them in Asda.

ElderMillennial · 21/04/2021 07:50

I haven't tried the lemon and lime one @Irishterrier

Thanks all - lots try - I can probably find something in any supermarket I go to now

I buy Lidl Greek yogurt (in 1kg pots) then add fruit and honey, so much nicer

HappydaysArehere · 21/04/2021 08:11

Kafir mango flavour.

SandrasAnnoyingFriend · 21/04/2021 08:24

The Aldi raspberry and passion fruit yogurts are my absolute favourite. Really thick and creamy and the fruit is tangy and delicious.

Otherwise I agree with plain Greek yogurt and fresh or stewed fruit added. Briefly cooked nectarines with honey and a bit of rosemary are the best. Make a batch and keep it in the fridge for a few days.

thiswaythat · 21/04/2021 08:24

The collective is also available in big Tesco and probably Sainsbury's too

Mango is beautiful. The passion fruit one tastes amazing but the seeds annoy me a little

ElderMillennial · 21/04/2021 08:39

I shop on Ocado at the moment and have found the Collective yogurts on there. I think I've seen them before but had never heard them recommended until now!

Perle de lait coconut and lemon ones are pretty much like the sainsbos ones. Used to be on special offer in Asda.
I've got a yoghurt maker - Easy Yo one. Used to buy the sachets in the Range but not used it in ages. Are they any good ? I didn't actually eat them, made them for dp.

teawamutu · 21/04/2021 11:54

Lidl and Aldi both do big pots of coconut Greek yoghurt. Divine.

H1978 · 21/04/2021 13:09

I’m not a big fan of yogurts but I love the Danone light and free Greek style range. So creamy and only 54 calories a pot. Cherry is my favourite

uncomfortablydumb53 · 21/04/2021 15:19

Another recommendation for Aldi/ Lidl Yogurt The Greek with honey is my favourite but they also do individual " premium style" yogurts which are likely similar to other ranges

Susie477 · 21/04/2021 15:25

I buy Lidl’s own brand Greek natural yogurt and add fruit / berries. The yogurt is the cheapest & best.

ElderMillennial · 21/04/2021 15:27

Well I went to go to Aldi and then realised I was in Lidl (I do it all the time...) and I got a few yogurts from there, a couple of Deluxe brand fudge ones, a raspberry and passion fruit and one that looks like the Collection ones

OP posts:
uncomfortablydumb53 · 21/04/2021 17:29

I get them mixed up too, especially as the products look similar
The yogurts may have even been made in the same factory so I hope you like them

JemimaTab · 21/04/2021 17:44

The Rachel’s Cream Top yoghurts are gorgeous, especially the mango & passionfruit one. Very creamy!

ElderMillennial · 21/04/2021 18:03

I'll try them and will try Aldi next time!

Plus have Ocado delivery next week so might get some more M&S ones and a Collection one to try Grin

ElderMillennial · 21/04/2021 20:11

Ocado has the Collective yogurts in a smaller size 4 for £3

Does anyone know the difference between the Collective mango yogurt and the Collective kefir mango cultured yogurt?

cashoncollection · 21/04/2021 20:14

I’ve just bought a bonne maman yoghurt from Asda, strawberry and rhubarb. It is DIVINE. Really creamy, such a nice yoghurt.

EmmaStone · 22/04/2021 10:45

Love the Collective yoghurts, Morello Cherry is my favourite. They also do a fudge one which is particularly decadent!

For breakfast, I have Yeo Valley's Kerned yoghurt (basically Greek yoghurt), with some of their compote, berries and muesli. Is lush! I don't live too far from Yeo Valley HQ, and during lockdown they've had a fab pop up shop so I'm well stocked up!!
