Thinking about this last night. If someone tells you to imagine your happy place, where are you?

Mine is Woolacombe beach.

Any place where my children are with me is my happy place.

Anywhere I can see the sea. It is a great regret that I have never lived by the sea.

In real life, shut away in my bed with a good book and some of my favourite chocolate.
In my head, in a desert island, with unlimited books, chocolate and red wine Smile oh and cheese.

Simple things make me happy - solitude, books and chocolate!

Up a hill in the Lakes, or sat at the Bridestones above Todmorden, or the best one for me - sat on the top floor sun terrace of a little Cretan hotel called the Amphora on Chania's old harbour in the evening, watching the sun go down and people-watching with a glass of wine.

The Maldives. It really is paradise on earth. The sea life, the powdery white sand, the sunsets. Sigh.

Anywhere I can swim outside. Was so pleased when the lidos opened again. The snow has put me off today but tomorrow i'll be at the Serpentine.
Best of all will be a sandy beach in the sunshine!

Castle Cove, Weymouth. Even thinking about it gives me a warm feeling.

Carn Euny ancient village in Cornwall. We went there a few years ago, and as I was going through one of the underground passages, I was flooded with the most incredible sense of peace and rightness and just wanted to stay there forever. The Sanctuary at Avebury has a similar effect on me but Carn Euny was just on another level.

Anywhere near a beach, or on top of a high hill in Scotland, one of the mountains around Glen Coe for preference - I don’t love the effort it takes to get there but the views are just stunning.

A warm white fine sand beach with aqua water.

30 degrees and slight breeze. With family

Port Isaac in Cornwall, it always gives me a strange feeling like I'm 'home.' Maybe I lived there in a previous life!

In my camper van in a preferably empty apart from me field.
