They’re about a 34gg so I’m quite sweaty but I’m otherwise slim. I walked about 7 miles today (usual for me)and it was warmer than normal. I wear an under wired sports bra more or less all the time since lockdown.

Can’t think of anything else relevant. Hope the photos ok so you can see it properly

aww twat. Bold fail.

MeridasMum · 04/04/2021 13:51

I used to get these. PP is correct that antibiotics will stop them but my GP wouldn't give them straight away - I had these on and off for a year or so before I got antibiotics

I used to apply a poultice (google for 'recipe') which would draw the fluid out therefore stopped the pain but didn't stop them reoccurring

DobbyTheHouseElk · 04/04/2021 13:53

Could be cellulitis.

sandgrown · 04/04/2021 14:14

@Whatwaswrongwiththatusername It’s very smooth and good for chubrub (thighs) too. lt is sold for babies as proper talc is not recommended . It’s less messy than proper talc and feels smooth on the skin. In Summer it sells out very quickly in Asda but I guess other places sell it . I saw it recommended by another poster last Summer.

trevthecat · 04/04/2021 14:20

I had something really similar recently. Also big boobed. It was an ingrown hair. The stuff that came out 🤢

TrickyD · 04/04/2021 14:56

Is anyone else feeling very envious?

Whatwaswrongwiththatusername · 04/04/2021 15:44

@sandgrown I was wondering about chubrub too, I think I'll definitely try and get some with my shopping. Talc really is rather messy! Thanks!

UseHerName · 04/04/2021 18:16

Oh I think it has a little bit of a head on it but I’m not at all up for breaking the seal...!

Please be kind enough to take photos or a video if you decide to pop it.

Ring 111 u need anti biotic

Tankflybosswalkjam · 04/04/2021 19:55

Firstly you need to master the video thing on your phone, you know, prop it up.

Then, you need to (ensuring good light) pick off that black bit. Don’t eat it. Then apply firm, increasing pressure with two fingers on either side of it, and keep going until we say stop.

This will cure it, pretty much instantly. Smile

I don’t know what it is. But I have huge boobs and struggle with sore u see boobs and have bought the liquid talc. Thanks for the recommendation. Just hope it works.

MySoCalledStrife · 04/04/2021 22:00

I get these all the time too and have big boobs. The only thing that I've found that has got it under control from reoccurring (I was literally getting them as soon as one of them has gone) was washing my boobs with hibiscrub. My GP gave it to me on prescription the first time but said it's cheaper to buy it over the counter at Boots. I also had antibiotics, and have used magnesium sulphate as well.

vestastilly · 04/04/2021 22:17

Cuticular talc is brilliant to prevent sweat rub etc it’s medicated and has something in it that makes your skin really soft

FlowEr262 · 04/04/2021 22:26

I’ve had 3 infected cysts, same place. First one I left for a week to see if it would just go away it was unbelievably sore ended up with gp referring it to hospital who did scans etc and drained it.

Second time I left it over the weekend, strong ab’s and it took about 10 days to go.

3rd one took antib’s straight away and it was gone quickly and no where near as painful.

On a waiting list to have the sac removed!

BlowDryRat · 04/04/2021 22:34

Tweezers and antiseptic cream. And photos.

justasking111 · 04/04/2021 22:40

I ended up at docs when the redness spread outward, they discovered that I had a high temperature so antibiotics were given. All during first lockdown . Do keep an eye on it

peachhouses · 04/04/2021 22:41

I’m DYING to get at that with a pin 🤤. If you do decide to tackle it, PLEASE set your front facing camera up on the windowsill or something and record it close up. I’m not even joking

Tankflybosswalkjam · 04/04/2021 22:54

You have to let the pressure out.

UseHerName · 05/04/2021 22:46
