Driving phobia

I've failed four tests and now with lessons and tests being postponed for so long, I've built up a massive mental fear around the thoughts of driving and think I'll never be able to. I feel panicked just at the thought.

Anybody got over a driving fear. I am in my late 20s with children and it's an absolute pain not driving for work and child care purposes 🤦‍♀️

I'm one of those who passed my test in later life, and although my kids tell me I'm a good driver, I can lose sleep worrying about a big drive the next day. My sense of direction is shit which doesn't help either. An incident with a hill junction gives me the jitters even now.

I have been on the motorway.

I'm going to get extra lessons to build my confidence, but it's reassuring to know that I'm not the only one.

Hill starts also give me cold sweats @Drivingmyselfcrazee in fact it’s probably the one thing I struggle most with 😅
