Marcus Wareing looked great, I thought. Really rested and healthy looking.

I assume they are doing their own screen make up now and don't have anyone to make sure they are presentable

I thought the same but figured perhaps he has been or is unwell. Benefit of the doubt. Gregg looks a picture of health next to him.

That's a significantly tidied up version of what he's looked like on the rare event I've seen him on Masterchef recently.

I know it's wrong to comment on people's appearance, and that it doesn't matter, but he looks unwell.

And I agree that there's no way on earth that a woman would be allowed on TV in that state and if that did happen, the comments would be appalling.

DH and I said exactly the same! It's not just untidy it looked unclean! As per pp, there's no way a woman presenter would have been allowed to present looking that unkempt!

Well Greggg Wallace seems to have found a love of waistcoats (with his thumbs tucked into the the braces beneath, barrow boy style) this series of Masterchef. Hate to say it but he looks hell of a lot smarter than John.

John just looks a bit saggy. Like a loaf of soreen when you try and cut a slice with a blunt knife
