Has anyone ordered from Amazon.com

I'm after a kitchenaid hand mixer and it's from the kitchenaid store but it's only available on Amazon.com (so coming from USA).

Don't know whether it's safe to order or no? Anyone have any experience? It's actually working out £50 cheaper than the uk kitchenaid site even after all postage charges are included.

Yes. I have. I had to pay duty on the item once. (I’ve ordered teeth whitening as it’s more powerful over there).

However. The plug will be different. The voltage is ok as long as you’ve got the connector.

Also stuff always takes way longer than you think to get here.

We used to buy a lot from the US & Canada, not just from Amazon.com. Had some stuff take months to turn up. It is always a worry something isn't going to appear, but todate everything we have ever bought has eventually arrived.
