I haven't used tonic since last September but my G&T season starts tomorrow. Should I buy fresh or give it a go ? It's seven small cans of regular Schweppes, BTW. Ta.

Leftover gin is the spirit that remains in a tightly-closed bottle from 1 October to 31 March. Not improving but not deteriorating either. Just waiting for 1 April to once again release its botanical, junipery aromas. And 43% alcohol. That's the craic chez WildRosie anyways.

I doubt it could taste any worse Grin

It'll be fine OP. Got to be better than the crisps that were 1 year past their BBE that I tried once. Now they were a bit "stale" tasting Blush but nobody was ill, it was fine!

Tonic Report: I'm pleased to announce the tonic water is none the worse for its aged status. The gin has also survived its hibernation.
