Been looking at a yoto player for DS3, I like the look and idea but its fairly pricey and don't want to make an expensive mistake. Anyone love/hate them?

We love our Yoto!

We use the player itself at home, but if travelling you can download the app and have all your Yoto content available on your phone as well (both the purchased stories and the homemade content).

We have had a yoto for a year now and both of my two children love it. The cards are robust and we use the app when in the car as it stores all the stories we have on cards at home. We can connect to the car speakers or to wireless headphones from the app too which is fab. The stories are well narrated and many have songs or extra features too.

Honestly couldn't recommend it enough, we've gone from TV every morning to mornings with the Yoto player... I was definitely sceptical at first but now I'm a convert.

I honestly can't recommend it highly enough! We don't like them watching too much TV or having screen time, so we were after a simple way for them to play music or audio books where they could be completely in control of what they listen to, and when. This has been PERFECT! They will happily spend hours (literally) curled up with it. The card selection is great with stuff for all ages - but they also have lots of free podcasts and a brilliant radio station. Another great thing about it is that you can set the clock to switch from night to day, so the kids know when it's ok to get up in the morning. It's a really great investment!
