I can’t stop thinking about this poor little girl. My heart hurts for her family. I know she’s not the only child fighting a life threatening illness but she’s all I’ve thought about today.

Sorry if this post upsets anybody that is familiar with this little girl.

Oh I just read Ashley's post and cried for them all, just lost for words. Poor little girl, RIP Azaylia 😢

SakuraEdenSwan1 · 25/04/2021 13:09

@ViciousJackdaw

What will Azaylia's followers do now? It is clear that her story has affected people a great deal. Some will sit there crying, making it all about themselves. Others will simply forget all about it until the next one comes along. A third option would be to do something to help support childhood cancer research in the hope that children in the future don't have to suffer.
Crying is not making it all about ourselves but genuinely upset for her loved ones.
ferryblue · 25/04/2021 13:13

@ViciousJackdaw.

Scummy comment.

lostitall · 25/04/2021 13:18

The only thing that matters now are her parents and family ♥️♥️♥️

BridgetJonesDaiquiri · 25/04/2021 13:18

@ViciousJackdaw many of us have set up regular contributions.

Sleep well Likkle Lion 🦁 🧡 👼 Wishing her family all the strength and support they need xxx

Dnadoon · 25/04/2021 13:35

Rest in peace beautiful baby ❤
Shame that this supportive thread was spoiled.....Again.

Kate3150 · 25/04/2021 14:00

Photos are just heartbreaking.
I think like many I clung onto hope that a miracle would happen and she would make it through.
What an impact you’ve had baby girl in your 8 months on this earth.
Sleep tight beautiful, I’ll never forget you 🧡

I think most are doing the third option? 80+k in donor registrations from this little girls life alone.

I don’t have the figures for everything right now but lots of people are doing things to help future children just like Azaylia. They can also cry too.

MrsDSalvatore · 25/04/2021 14:07

@ViciousJackdaw if you have read the entire thread you would know that many on here have now become bone marrow donors and set up regular donations to childhood cancer charities aswel and signing and sharing petitions to help childhood cancer gain more funding.

Rest in eternal paradise beautiful Azaylia, you have captured the hearts of the world and left behind a massive legacy 🦁💕

pumpmink · 25/04/2021 14:51

oakleaffy · 25/04/2021 14:58

Bless the dear little girl and all other children and their parents suffering from childhood life-limiting conditions..
Azaylia's parents must be beyond distraught.
They did their very best.
Rest in peace, Azaylia...💕

Not letting the few negative comments detract from what has been a supportive, caring thread about a brave little girl.

Rest in Peace beautiful Azaylia. You have taught so many people so much and fought so hard in your short life.
I’m honoured to have watched their story and my heart breaks for Ashley and Safiyya now.
She won’t be forgotten, not by everyone who loves her, not by the thousands of people following her story. Let’s Go Champ... forever ❤️

Biglumpycustard · 25/04/2021 16:17

Overandabove1 · 25/04/2021 16:51

Rip such a heartbreaking situation but how proud they should be of themselves and their little girl. By the looks of Ashley’s Instagram she passed away yesterday. My prayers are with them all

Nobody is being negative about Azaylia or her family.

They're being negative about this thread. Difference.

Honeydrops5 · 25/04/2021 17:11

I honestly was just holding out on a miracle. No matter how slim it was part of me really wanted to believe and thought she would somehow pull through. It feels like this has happened so quickly even thought she has been going through this for awhile. I dont know what to do or say, life is not fair and was cruel to take this beautiful little baby away. I hope she has found peace, and my condolences are with her incredibly strong parents.

Mamascoven · 25/04/2021 17:14

RIP beautiful baby girl 😢🧡🦁

LetsGoChamp · 25/04/2021 17:22

I think it’s really sad that because of a few comments that are disagreed with some by others this thread has turned into some MN AIBU post.

It’s literally just a place of support for people that feel sad about it and want to talk and show our support for the family. There’s been posts about things we could do so many have set up donations and registered to AN. I don’t think it’s being a grief vulture because we’re affected by something that’s so public and want to talk about it. I think it’s really sad that people can’t understand that. It’s not even about being kind but a lot of you are purposely just being unkind.

If you don’t want to be a part of the thread no one forced you to read through it and comment, you could of just left. So I think what’s actually distasteful is the attitude of a lot of the new posters.

To MN, if you could pull this thread now @HopeMumsnet @MNHQ or whoever it is.

RIP Azaylia. Such a beautiful light in the world. Thinking of your wonderful parents and family ❤️

Quit derailing @cripez, it’s boring. I know exactly what your comments meant. If you’d bothered to read the thread you’d know that 95% of comments have been positive and supportive of the family.

HidingInTheFridge · 25/04/2021 17:43

RIP angel girl, may you feel no more pain

Lovebug06 · 25/04/2021 17:51

RIP Angel.
Her parents are amazing. I hope they get help with their grief. Azaylia has raised awareness, money and more donors than ever due to her tragic journey. She is a little hero
The world is a terribly cruel place.
