Dying before my kids are grown up, definitely.

folloyourarro · 25/03/2021 21:46

If I ever had to be on my own. Loneliness really scares me.

Volcanoexplorer · 25/03/2021 21:49

Loads of stuff scares me, I’m a wuss. All of the death stuff and things to do with jobs and money that have already been mentioned. Plus driving anywhere on a busy motorway e.g M6 and driving to places I don’t know, especially if I have to take the big car. It gives me real anxiety.

poppycat10 · 25/03/2021 21:52

Getting dementia. Well actually even more scary is DM and/or DH getting it.

Or dying in a fire.

Justkeeprollingalong · 25/03/2021 21:56

I'm late 60s and I'm scared of dying before my youngest daughter has her first child. I remember how much my mum helped me.

ParkheadParadise · 25/03/2021 21:57

Death doesn't scare me

Dementia scares me, after watching my mum suffer from it the thought of DH and dd having to go through what my me and my siblings did would destroy me.

Sometimes when I allow my thoughts to go here, the thought that my dd is not resting at peace scares me. It's something that haunts me to be honest.

That eventually the people I love will see me the way that I see myself.

Death
Incurable illness
Losing those I love

RosesAndHellebores · 25/03/2021 22:06

My children (they are mid 20s now) ending up with unhappy lives.
Becoming vulnerable

Kanaloa · 25/03/2021 22:19

Chimps. They just freak me out, I hate them.

Kanaloa · 25/03/2021 22:20

Oh, I’ve just looked at the previous answers and now mine seems a little frivolous. I was thinking of things outside the normal death, pain etc like something that scares me for no real reason.

Volcanoexplorer · 26/03/2021 18:16

@Kanaloa I feel the same about cats. I hate going to my sil because they have a cat.

Frazzledd · 26/03/2021 18:37
