Where do you put your knife after you've buttered your bread?
On the countertop leaves a grease mark, I don't want it on my plate (it'll fall off as I carry it to the table) and because of the shape of our butter dish I can't leave it in/on top of there. Don't want to put it in the dishwasher yet in case I have a second piece of bread.
I've taken to putting it on a piece of kitchen towel but it seems wasteful to do it everyday.
So... where do you put yours?
