Yawn....
Yes, I am. Well, it’s on the tv. I’ve had a few glasses of something nice, and dsis who is an avid fan is glued to it.
I’m a happy drunk and she is a confrontational arse with drink in her (usually lovely). So I’m keeping quiet and mumsnetting.

GingerFigs · 20/03/2021 20:28

I thought they were saying Teddy Bear 😂

Bearsbearsbears40 · 20/03/2021 20:32

Definitely watching, enjoying it and hating it all in one go (Wales fan)

Bunnybigears · 20/03/2021 20:33

@Boscoforever good plan. I have stopped asking DH for help with the rules as he has had a few drinks as well and isn't being particularly patient.

Bunnybigears · 20/03/2021 20:34

@Bearsbearsbears40 we are supposedly interested neutrals but DH has found his inner Welsh from somewhere

SpeckledyHen · 20/03/2021 20:37

Sorry OP 🤭 glad you got your answer. Allez France 🇫🇷.

Bunnybigears · 20/03/2021 20:41

@SpeckledyHen thats ok I'm guilty of thinking the same fairly often. He's gone off now anyway so I'll just have to find a new favourite.

Bearsbearsbears40 · 20/03/2021 20:44

Definitely calling Jalibert Jammy Bear from now on.

raincamepouringdown · 20/03/2021 20:47

We're loving 'jellybear' in this house ... having great fun repeating anything with his name.

Bearsbearsbears40 · 20/03/2021 20:48

And apologies for the cliched woman-watching-rugby comment, but it’s always nice to see Josh Navidi on prime time Saturday night telly (I feel at this point I need to clarify that I do know the rugby rules!)

JayAlfredPrufrock · 20/03/2021 20:49

Well he’s off now.

But what a bloody good game of Rugby.

Come on 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Bunnybigears · 20/03/2021 20:55

My son stopped playing rugby ar under 10s so I had to stop learning rugby rules and started learning cricket rules instead 🙈 hope the second half is as exciting as the first.

scryingeyes · 20/03/2021 21:17

on here too. Beer and wine flowing. Welsh flags hanging from the window! (classy bird)

Snuzzle · 20/03/2021 21:39

Watching with Welsh DP who is getting more agitated by the minute

HoollyWugger · 20/03/2021 21:50

I'm totally crushing on Luke Pearce!

MrsDThomas · 20/03/2021 21:51

Its on. And i have absolutely zero interest.DH and DD are screaming at the tv

And im Welsh through and through.

HoollyWugger · 20/03/2021 21:52

And there's a French player whose name reminds me of the "du pain, du vin, du Boursin" advert . DH looks at me as though I've lost my marbles Grin

Trumplosttheelection · 20/03/2021 21:53

The ref is having a cracking game.

I think he should run the country. Fair, measured, vigorous, human.

Are the refs actually the best bit of rugby?

JayAlfredPrufrock · 20/03/2021 22:02

The ref was fabulous
