@CandyCaneLane0

The money was in my bank a few days before I got the letter x
Ahh thank you. I dont know what I'm getting so worked up about, i already have the Reconsideration forms off the internet because im fully expecting to use them. My sons 2 only just and I've read so many comments that it's hard to get accepted for a 2 year old xx

@itsgettingwierd

DLA I've had various response times from 3 weeks to 8 weeks for initial and renewals.

I applied for ds change to PIP back in October and then got a letter a week before deadline to say as they hadn't received it I'd get an extension of 2 weeks Confused

I rang as I'd sent it and they'd received it. Had phone assessment middle of feb and 3 weeks later to say they'd had info to make a decision.

Decision took a week and it came back the other day!

I got my letter acknowledging the claim a today but it was dated the 17th saying they'd received it the 10th so im only 2.5 weeks in.. i didn't realise how impatient i was 🤣 xx

Hiya,

I was just wondering if anyone has recently sent a claim from back? I sent mine back on 13th May (stupidly straight into the post box) I have called them and they haven’t received it but did mention a back log in scanning them on. I really don’t want to have to fill a new form in!

Hello, I applied for dla in May for my child, I'm worried I have not gave enough evidence, he is 3 years and has a cenco, support worker and health visitor working with him, they believe it could be asd/adhd, they do things behind the scenes, but I don't have any proof all I know is they have a behavioural plan in school and he has one on one time with his senco and the support worker has told me that everything I tell her she writes down ready for when he gets reffered to the doc, I have not got docs as evidence at the moment as his 3 so they waiting to refer him at 5 which the support worker said she's definitely doing, I tried to write as much about his struggles on the form however as there is not much evidence I feel I'm going to get turned down 🙁 also how long did everyone wait mine has been roughly 7 weeks tia
