Craving cake...what shall I make?

All I can think of is a basic Victoria sponge or fairy cakes. Is there anything else that I can make with basic storecupboard ingredients?

My Mum's recipe for Coffee Walnut Cake is a basic Victoria sponge, with 1 tbsp Camp coffee essence and 100g of chopped walnuts added. I do it as a tray-bake, and don't bother icing it.

Oh my God, that custard cake looks incredible!

I've made a lot of this recently. The cooking time is pretty hit and miss, but it's a great cake!

Impossible Pie is good fun as well. I saw it mentioned in a book, and looked the recipe up.lovefoodies.com/impossible-pie/
