This is hilarious! I knew them all instantly and I’m not even from the “David Essex/Adam ant generation”. OP - you have the same condition as my dh, I call it “face dyslexia” (I don’t mean any offence by that I just can’t think of a better term for it). He never recognises ANYONE and gets celebrities confused all the time. He’s also terrible at guessing peoples ages and pronouncing peoples names if it’s slightly unusual. For instance he calls Oprah Winfrey “OFF-rah” and John torode “John TURTURD” amongst others .
He’d be hopeless at identifying a criminal!
